perfect for small areas

purchased for getting snow off of front deck- we live in northern Michigan and get a lot of snow- this battery powered shovel works great!!! only has an issue with chunks of ice- I have used it in 2 inches of snow to 8inches of snow- no problems!!

Great Girl Power Battery Snow Shovel

This battery-operated snow shovel worked great! I was very impressed. It had long enough battery life for me to do my walkway and 2- 8'x10' porches with 4+ inches of snow on them some days. I love the fact that it shoots the snow quite a distance to get it out of the way. It makes clearing snow a lot of fun! I chose the girl power pink for additional fun and so my husband knows that it is mine!
It is not heavy. It took the snow all the way off to the cement. It is limited to 4 inches of snow or else it bogs down. However, I was able to use it and go down in a top skimming down motion to get the heavier loads of snow cleared down. It was fluffy snow, not sure how well to do on eastern wet snow. Used at 8000 ft above sea level in the mountains with heavy Montana snow!
Value for money:
It was a good price compared with others.
Functionality:
I like the fact that it has a directional level to change which side the snow blows to. It is a very important option. I would not get one that does not allow you to change the direction of the snow blowing out.
Weight:
It is very easy to lift and hold with the battery on it. We had several women of different statures using it without any problem.
